Basic Life Support in the South East

Awareness of the Basic Life Support guidelines plus Resuscitation and dealing with the Unconscious Casualty is a vital part of First Aid.

Where do you use basic life support skills?

Basic life support skills are used in situations when a life-threatening illness or injury can’t be treated straightaway in a hospital.  Simple techniques can be taught which will keep a victim alive until help arrives and basic life support can be given without the aid of medical equipment if necessary.

Our Basic Life Support Courses are held in and around Sussex, Kent and Surrey

This is a 4 hour course (inclusive of breaks) and aims to give the participant the very basics of First Aid.  Basic Life Support can be given by any person who is trained to do it and is very useful in many professions i.e. activity leaders, school teachers, social workers, day care workers, not just those who work in a hospital.

The use of the AED (Defibrillator) and the use of Auto Injectors (Epi Pen) is included.

Knowing how to save a life will give you confidence to act when the need arises:  call us to hear more about our Basic Life Support courses in the South East or to book your place.
